Well - those damn things are expensive! You know what they sold for? $13.50! WTF! I'll have to run them through the ultrasonic cleaner! And I scored on a whole bunch of other stuff for like $9 each. Gettin' ready to build 3 more GS500's.

The seller with the full fairing asked for my shipping address. That's a good sign.

Holy Crap! When the listing said it didn't have stickers, I thought it was used. Listing says NEW! WOW! MEOW! PURRRR!
I know I could buy another GS500 for the cost of the fairing and shipping - but they are so cool! I LOVE the one on Junior. It is such a great feeling to ride him with the fairing.

Still need someone un the UK for a couple parts where the seller won't ship to the USA.
Anyone? Sledge care to help me?

First one looks like shorties type 1 with original bars
Second one is obviously  type 2 "talls"
3rd one looks like type 1 shorts with aftermarket aluminum bars.

Who would be our shipping contact in the UK or Germany for sellers that won't ship to the USA? One will ship to Germany or UK. Probably would ship to Portugal.

Pretty sure the clevis has been shortened to fit in a GS.

No labels I can see. I do not know the length. It turned up on ebay super cheap so I wonder if it is worth it for the cost of a tank of gas?

Looks like it except it must have been cut and re-drilled to fit like a stock shock.

Honestly. I can't see the SV shock being much better than the GS one unless the GS one absolutely shot. Looks like it is only preload adjustable like the GS. A lot of the SV riders upgrade their suspension too. What does he want for it?

But I am happy with the GS rear shock (as long as it is not 20 years old - I replace old ones with newer ones) so I guess I really don't need it.

$35 is too much for that IMO. I got my SV for $20 and its 2011 model? Also mine looks new.

Bought a fairing. These things are pretty rare to find one still in the box. UNFORTUNATELY it doesn't have the stickers on it.
Thought: If I'm making a purple/gold Univ. Wash. Husky bike, why not add a white cougar to the red fairing and make a Washington State Univ. Cougar bike?
That would be funny to see two GS's head to head at a motorcycle show.
