2006 GS Like New

2006 GS500F Like New with just under 3,000 miles.  I bought this from a local guy so that he could keep his house until he found a job - good news - he found a job!  Anyway, it is showroom clean, not a single flaw, completely stock and untouched, looks absolutely like new.  Orig owner stabilized the gas and properly stored the bike each winter.  I ALWAYS remove and clean the carbs on bikes that come my way but this starts and runs too good so I did not bother.  Almost unbelievable condition.  I did remove all warning stickers - that is the only mod.  I am an older guy, professional engineer who has owned about 125 bikes.  Ex car racer, bike racer, race car builder so I know perfect when I see it.  This is perfect.

$2250 Cash, No crazy lowball offers, this is as nice as a new one off the showroom floor.  Located near Ann Arbor MI.  With payment in full in my hands I would ride it as far as 300 miles to get it to you.

Got bored this weekend and removed the PAIR system, set the mixture screws for best running, and shimmed the slide needles with one shim.  Also set the TPS that wasn't set right when delivered.  The bike ran fine before - now it runs like a motorcycle should.  The leanness at light throttle is gone.

Now has Sonic 0.85 for springs and 15W oil.  Nice.  This is an incredibly nice GS.  New ones are hard to find - buy this for half the money.

Reduced to $2250.  I know it's the wrong time of year but I am a little surprised at no interest here and other places for a bike like this at this price.  Things must be very slow - the local bike shop isn't selling any summer or winter toys.  He has a new Honda CBR250R that no one's even looking at and it was the hottest thing around.
