When in neutral i have to fight the bike into first gear, i mean really stomp on the pedal.. sails through the other gears smooth as a babys bottom.

Also when riding at low speed and the clutch NOT pulled in, the bike stutters and makes a horrible knock which rattles the bike, and sometimes clicks itself into neutral??? and when the engine is turned off there is instantly a sound like a small metal ball rolling around inside the engine...??????? Can someone piece it together??

Roll the bike forwards or backwards to line up the transmission for the bike to go into gear.  Helps when parking the bike facing downhill; put the bike in gear and roll it forward til it stops (clutch out).

Bike stuttering is due to lugging the bike at too low of rpm.  Keep the revs above 4000rpm.

Small metal ball sound, sounds like a loose metal part, like a gear dog, which would explain how the bike would click itself into neutral.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Forgot to mention this all started since i replaced the gear selector oil seal. It was just a direct replacement only thing had to remove was sprocket cover, but had to tap the gear changer with a hammer slightly to loosen the cover off. Would that have possibly broke something to cause this?

Define "slightly" (rhetorical).

If, while tapping, you didn't hear of feel anything break inside, you should be okay.

I have to tap the gear lever as lightly as i can, as it is slightly bent by the PO. So its not just a case of sliding the cover off, it has to be encouraged.

And nope i didn't hear/sear anything break or anything out of the ordinary.

Ok the banging from the left side of the engine doesn't start until the bike is in neutral. If i'm at stand still with the clutch in, no knocks.. sounds how it should. Whereas when i let the clutch out it CLUNKS and then goes back to normal. Also when coming ot a stop at low rpms it stutters and clunks and sometimes slips into neutral??
