Took the sproket cover off to clean the front sproket, now the cover won't fit back on properly. Tried everything save for hitting it with a hammer. what am i doing wrong?

Check that the pushrod for the clutch is seated properly, and inspect any locating pins. Whatever you do, do not hit it with a hammer.

Got it. That's what happens when you glance at and not READ the instructions.
