Gear Shaft Lever Replacement Steps?

Hi burning1 thats what i though but i realised i had removed everything properly, just the gear shaft was to severely bent to pass through the tunnel straight so some DIY had to be done, worked a charm though amazingly.

Wow, no kidding! Good call on cutting it off instead of forcing it through.

Hi Craig, just got your pm but it looks like you got it sorted. I'd suggest if you have any other questions to rely on burning or sledge, I haven't done this job on a GS before and the last time I did it at all was some time in the late 70s!
