What are who makes these? How can I get one?
PICS are GONE never TO return.

Those look very much like crash bars, very possibly custom made.

I have never come across such an extensive set anywhere else before.
I like a non-sequitur as much as the next Giraffe.

With your hands? Those crash bars aren't connected to the frame. so there is nothing restricting the steering.

That should be a Hepco & Becker item. available in Germany and maybe the UK.

Lill overkill, especially given how well the GS500E crashes, I think...

pave_spectre

Might be ok if you plan to take your GS bushbashing regularly. :D

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes.
A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production.
Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

If you think you need crash bars like that, sell your bike now and give up riding, seriously.

Ben, where did you find that pic? Aside from the safari guard up high, and the highway bars down low, there appears to be another set of bars for the swingarm maybe?

whoops, it looked like the uppers were connected to the lower frame guards.......upon closer inspection, they are independent of each other.  looks like stunter guards.

Hey Rich.
I found it on the GS twin wiki. http://wiki.gstwins.com/index.php?n=Upgrades.CaseGuards All the way at the bottom.

I am building a touring GS that will see some single track.Really nothing more than smooth foot paths.I want some protection against branches hitting the headlight and handle bars.I may just go with bark busters and wire mesh type head light guard.

Thanks for the criticism.I love the support found on this forum.  :flipoff:
