recommended mechanic in southern la area

I dont/wont have the kind of money to do anything until well after Christmas, but... planning ahead... does anyone have any recommendations for a solid, reliable GS500 experienced mechanic in the southern california area? Ideally south-east-ish of los angeles, around lakewood/north long beach area?

one o these days, I should probably pay someone who knows what they are doing, to strip down and fix the wierd vibe in my engine (2nd gear)

The guy I bought my 500 from had just graduated from Cal State Long Beach, and both he and the previous owner(s) took the bike to Long Beach Motorsports for all maintenance, including some serious carb cleaning/re-tuning (after it started firing on only 1 cylinder).  Don't know if that's the type of expert you're looking for...

Long Beach motorsports is the place I'm trying to get AWAY from.
They didnt even do an oil change right.
