Still dont know if I wanna ride through the winter....

There are a few people here that do that, but they have special heated gear and grips and stuff, which I don't have. Plus I heard the GS doesnt run that well in the cold, it gets down to like 10F here as a low in the dead of winter

Right now the lows are mid 30's which are REALLY COLD for me but I can take it

My bike was forced into storage back home, about 180 miles north. Someone tried to steal it last Monday from my apt, and rather than deal with that (thankfully they didnt get it) I decided to store it at a friends. My other bikes are all in storage due to the move to LA anyways. We hope to be out of here in January or Feburary though. On to bigger and better things career wise hopefully.

Glad to hear everyone so far is doing well here :) been quite a while since i've been around here! Way too long! I miss the GS terribly, which may be why I got into 50's. They are cheap and fun to ride. I picked up a Honda 50 Elite (plated) and built a YSR 50 (bored 4.5mm and plated) and have a modded CRF 50 for mini GP.

ohgood

hiyas ! i was down at the local twisties bar/grill hangout and a honda hawk came through... all i could think about was my old gs, while beating on the drz yesterday.

then, today, 100 feet from the trailhead, the drz dropped it's mixture screw somewhere and i made it home WOT. out on the fz6 to grab an extended screw for the drz, then just enough time to get a few wheelies in before it was dark.... the fuel screw made me think of all those fun days trying to get the gs working again and those damned carbs...

anyway, i should be good for another 4-500 miles before something breaks or falls off the fun bike. the fz is reliable as sunrise. but so boring.
