WTB High Beam Blue Cap on gauges

I was Going to just buy http://www.customdynamics.com/led_button_head_bolts.htm to replace them all.

But to be short and blunt, looking to move ASAP after my bike is finished. (not much left to get it going again to move it)
So "right now" I cant be wasting like $80 on just some button lights.

Gauges housing is freshly painted and I would hate to have a missing cap on it.

So if anyone has a Junk pair of gauges laying around that they dont really need the caps from, or simply extra caps around.

$10 for something smaller then a penny sound good?

I just need the blue cap... like so many others of course.
but I put too much work into mine to leave such a detail overlooked.

I have also yet to go to a few plastic companies in the area to see if they can make me a Bundle of them.
Still going to look into that sometime tho and sell some here if I get lucky with a place that can make them.
Past few days have been too busy.

actually..... I know how rare and how much of a demand there is for the blue caps.
So if getting a blue cap is going to be almost impossible, any other one would be just fine.
I can always paint it blue to suffice for the meantime.

yes I prefer a blue but even if you only have extras of the others is fine.

I know when my high beams are on, so painting the cap blue is no problem for me.
So i wouldnt even need to replace the burnt out bulb below it either as if its painted it would be pointless and if it heats up, might bug the paint.

The blue lense (and only the blue) has a habit of falling out it seems. I've seen 5 GS's so far with that missing. You can't buy the lenses seperate from Suzuki, you have to buy the entire bezel.

Ive got a complete bezel around here somewhere with all 4 in it i think but i cant find it. Its in a manila padded envelope but IDK where right now. I do have some other colors though if you still want one of those. Sry

but bad news, went a lil overboard with the Xmas shopping for family, friends, & the bike....
and I am pretty much Broke until the 30th.

So if you want to keep lookin for the blue one, u got time and if its in a complete set and you dont care to lose the blue from it, then I'll toss $15 at ya for that on the 30th?
$10 for whatever other color if u choose not to break up the set in the one u have somewhere.

oh ya and a few dates over the weekend hurt the wallet too

So those prices and timeframe good?
can have it for ya first thing Friday morning on the 30th.

haha a few dates simply finished me off.
that and a late billing from parts that I thought was all taken care of.

doubt I will have kids the way this weekend ended.... ugh crackpot people!

Sorry to hi-jack, but I actually need the same cover, but I'll take any color, I have a piece of electrical tape covering the empty hole right now.

Just an FYI, the different colors are all a slightly different mold, there is a little tang you have to file off to make it fit in a different hole. There is someone on this board that was looking into making these but I haven't heard anything lately.

Just an FYI, the different colors are all a slightly different mold, there is a little tang you have to file off to make it fit in a different hole. There is someone on this board that was looking into making these but I haven't heard anything lately.

When putting the 3 I have in, I noticed the notches.
I didnt before then.
Glad I got lucky with a blue one when it gets here

and I've been meaning to stop by some plastic places nearby and see if anyone can make a whole bunch for me.
Was another person that I heard was going to get some made too.

didnt stop by anywhere to even see if they can do it yet tho.
been busy with the bike & season.

I finally got a complete bracket with lenses on Ebay. The blue lens came out very easily. Too easily. The others are TIGHT. The blue is actually 0.2mm smaller. That's why those fall out. So I'm looking into a good way to bring the size up before taking a mold. Eventually I'll have a batch made.

They shrink because they are always hot with the high beam on a lot.
Use another one and make a pattern. The eliminate the alignment pins and you should be OK. Or move them to the right place.
You might make a universal clear one then rely on people using LEDs to get the color.

all my free times been going into the bike tho.
One I got is good and actually took a lil bit of force to go in.
and I'm leaving my high beam bulb burnt out. (I know when they are on)

so if I can find somewhere to make them, mine will be proper size and not shrunk.
but will def get all of them made if I ever get around to it. lol
