Weird, but Dirt tires on a GS500f?

I have 2 sets of dirtbike tires, now I was wondering If I could fit them on the 2005 GS500f? sounds funny, but I was wondering if there is anything that would keep me from changing the tires from the GS500 stocks, to these dirtbike tires/rims. It has the brake disc, rims are fine, rubber is almost Not even used.. I just wanna see if I can go muddin with my GS500f

What diameter are the tires? Obviously they need to be 17" to fit on the stock rims. Swapping out different wheels (complete -hubs, brakes, etc) can be an absolute nightmare unless you think out every little detail. From axle diameters, caliper diameters, fork spacing, etc, etc, etc can all ruin ny plan you may have.

Then to go "mudding" on a GS.........well, you run into a whole other set of problems. Ground clearance, suspension travel, exposed engine parts, seating and handle bar position, and I'm sure many others. There are some dual sport GS builds on Advrider.com - I highly recommend you check them out if you are really serious.

I wasn't really all that serious, but if you know how I could get rid of these tires, I'd gladly will. Got some old freakin dirtbike parts for free yesterday, from the trash... and the tires are almost freakin new?! no weather rot, a lot of tread left.. like lord. but the tires are attached to the rims.. so I got rims, tires, 2 frames, some parts.. nothing really much. idk what to do with them, lol I should stop collecting stupid stuff...

E-Bay or Craigslist. Sell them for dirt cheap and SOMEBODY will buy them.
