Taking apart the carbs

So when I took apart my carbs a little while ago for cleaning, I had some issues getting most of the screws out.  I guess one of the previous owners had taken them apart before, so they were all seriously rounded out.  I could barely get a grip on any of them with my phillips screwdriver.  In order to get several of the screws out, I had to use a dremel tool and cut in an line to get them out with a flathead screwdriver.  I know I should replace all of these screws, but I was wondering where to get them from?  Should I go on an OEM site like bikebandit and pay for the exact individual screws (some of which cost like 2 bucks a piece), or buy a metric assorted screw/bolt kit?

Here's one I was looking at online:  http://www.amazon.com/UST-Contractor-Nut-Bolt-Assortment/dp/B000G09WV2/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1325848498&sr=8-7

Or does anyone know of a better kit I can buy?

Thanks for the help....

Take one of each size to your local hardware store and match thread diameter, pitch, and length on some "socket head cap screws". Preferably stainless steel.

I wasn't in a rush, so I ordered SS screw kits from the UK on ebay. Handy because all the right size screws are in the kit. Also has kits for engine covers and one for all bolts & nuts on a bike (like 560 of them). Ordered a set of that for assembling Phenix.

Otherwise - go local and get allen head SS screws for all of them. NEVER put phillips head screws back on unless you have to - like the countersink screws that hold on the seat latch or bar ends.
