Does anyone know if the fuel cap seal is replacable?  :dunno: I went to bikebandit to see if it had a listing and couldn't find one. I cant see buying a $130 fuel cap for a $1.00 seal !

Ripped it in my brother's GSXR back in 97... Very very hard to find but I eventually bought a gas cap that was smashed  in, a screw driver was used to pry it open and was trashed in general but had a good gasket. Look on ebay etc... Gas caps with keys missing are generally going for cheap. Someone here (was it fuzzy memory, or one of the other guys in the NY, NJ area... name/handle escapes me right now...) had a cap they were going to split open with a screw driver... get it from them. I also used to rig up an inner tube that sorta stayed there OK, just had to be put in position a few times before closing the first few times you open it... but that takes a ton of patience to fabricate not to mention the right sized inner tube... and caused some general grief when assembling.
Cool.
