IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My $100 Shadow burbled to life today!

Awesome job! Extremely satisfying to hear a bike come to life.

After my engine rebuild, I'm happy to say that all seems well with the yz426. I thought the clutch might've been slipping when I took it out for it's first ride, but I think it was just because it was 35 degrees, and between the cold roads, my cold tires, and the water/salt laying on the roads, my back tire would just start spinning so easily that I couldn't even tell. It felt perfectly fine the next day when it was almost 60 degrees, and it seemed to work fine.

On the down side, I found a nail with my rear tire the 2nd time I had it out. I put the original MX wheels on it for now, which might be a good idea considering it's January anyway, and luckily my wheels should have tubes in them, so I think I can get away with sticking a new tube in it and going on with life.

and just for anyone who's tempted to try snow street tires, it doesn't work, haha. I was happy I even managed to get out of that snow after I had stopped moving

I don't have any real place to build a bike, so I do it digitally on my computer.
I started using Blender about a month ago. This is what i have done so far.

Hey TT, find anold MX tires and run some deck screws from the inside out.  A lot of fun in the Pennsylvania snow   :thumb:

Another winter project (though this one is a GS).  It's a 1980 GS550L.  There was a car blocking Adfalchius' garage so I couldn't stow it away as planned.  Then it started to snow.  My buddy Piglet was moving a project of his over to a warehouse space we share so I hauled it up there.  It started to rain/snow on the way.  He was pissed that his toy got wet, I don't think it will hurt mine

The seller had all kinds of critters at his house (dogs, chickens, goats...).  I set up a ramp to load the bike in the truck and one of the goats enjoyed climbing it.

All loaded up and no where to go.  Then the rain/snow showed up.

Ended up stowing it away at a warehouse space I rent with a fellow motorcycle hoarding friend.

My buddy happened to be moving a project of his to the warehouse today too.  He was pissed that his toy got wet

Fancy shmancy wheels

I don't know Harley type engines so I have no idea what this is.  It is shiny though...

The drive line is on the right hand side.  I thought the combination rotor/sprocket (sprotor) was pretty trick.

That is pretty cool. How was it getting that chopper into and out of a truck?? haha it looks like it's about 2 feet longer than my truck bed. I feel like you'd almost have to load it in backwards because all of the weight is on the back end, and I wouldn't feel as comfortable with that weight on my tailgate every time I bit a bump in the road.

tt_four: Piglet had the bike loaded on a trailer.

Dreaded goats.  Hopefully it's not contagious.  I made sure to wash my hands before I touched my GS.
