Ok, nice.

Anyone know what flasher unit I need to make my LED signals work properly?

The one pictured above that I have ready to install is:

LED Relay Flash Controller - Suzuki - 7-Pin

Is this the correct one??
2009 Suzuki GS500F | Black/Silver | Zero Gravity Double Bubble dark-smoked windscreen | Lights4All LED smoked tail | DMP LED smoked rear signals | Pro Grip 719 RVGS handlebar grips | Rear metal grab-bars delete | Yoshimura TRS Slip On Exhaust

Hey- I'm actually doing a fenderectomy pretty soon- I'm gonna try something I haven't seen on here yet with the rear signals though. I'm going to see if I can remove those red reflectors on either side of the tail & mount signals there. That way I can do the "uber fenderectomy" found in the wiki. I'll let you know how it turns out. I'm thinking about filming the whole thing- the GS could use some DIY video tutorials I think, since everyone seems to be wrenching on one part or another @ any given time.

Also, pretty simple mod that makes it look a lot cleaner. Take off all those damn stickers on the frame!

Do a search. People have mentioned before what flasher they get - and from a local auto parts store. 7 pin flasher is wrong.
If I had done it I'd know.
Problem is older mechanical flashers don't have enough current going through them to work right. Newer electronic ones like in our GS 2004+ have an electronic one, but it has a "burn out bulb" feature. When it senses too little load, it blink fast to alert you that a bulb is burnt out.
There also is the issue of the indicator bulb which is in series between the left and right side turn signals. The threads on LED turn signals will address that issue, too.
Someone who has done it may quickly know where those threads are.

PS: This is always so funny. People keep doing fender chops and I had 3 that I couldn't give away and threw into the recycling bin just a couple weeks ago. and I buy & replace the chopped ones with new fenders because with our wet weather, you need it to keep the bike clean and dry. Never could get anyone to just swap a good fender for a chopped one.
