adidas might be able to tell ya but I wouldn't know since I never got around to fully installing it. I would imagine it helps though

The small headlight cowling is attractive, nice looking and cool looking.
As for deflecting wind: off the gauges - yes, but does little for the rider. 
I like them 'cause I think they look cool.  Gives you that cafe-Racer look.

Seems same person was bidding on the GIVI case and mounting brackets. I'll see if I like it when I get it. Mounting brackets go for more than what I just paid for the whole thing. We'll see. Maybe there will be more stuff for sale......

There seems to be a lot of interest in these cowlings.  I would like a couple myself for my bikes.  If somebody already has one they should see if they can get a company to make a production run.  Seems like they would sell on this site.
