To make an incredibly long story short, I just had somebody offer me $2700 for my 97...I wasn't looking to sell necessarily, just someone commented on it and we got to talking. Turns out he's looking for a small commuter bike and he loved my GS.

The obvious plus side is that $2700 is double what I've put into the bike. I only paid $1200 for it because of its running problems. It now runs flawlessly, of course, with all of the help I received here.

The downside is that I'd have to find another bike to replace it - which isn't entirely a bad thing because I've been eying an 03 Katana 750 on CL.

I don't know what to do!

I guess I was just being paranoid. The shock is probably fine.

So, it sounds like I should sell out....

The only problem is there's only room for two bikes in my garage, so if I do sell it, I can't buy two more bikes.

I don't know, I'll call the guy tomorrow and see if he's gonna produce the cash.

Wow, I thought I'd get at least one person saying keep the bike. Well, ya won't be rid of me if I do, I still have my 07!

I'll call him tomorrow when I get home. We'll see what he says.

And yeah, the only thing I'd accept is cash. I've dealt on CL enough to know that, LOL!
