I will be at Biketoberfest in Daytona 10/18 through 10/21 though.  Won a bike transport from the midwest to FL.  I have to figure out how to get there, but my bike gets there for F-R-E-E!

I would... but currently looking for a new "bike" as my GS500 ain't working for me anymore. I'll hang around the forums from time to time. but mostly im done with my POC of a bike. movin up in the world!

Well,

We are heading out at 0800 about 4 of us going. Three girls and 1 guy I'm sure everyone is going to think he's a mack daddy grandpa! He is in his mid 50's two girls in the 20's and then me LOL!

Mary, I went for almost 15 years straight when I lived in Tampa.  Trust me, it's a blast. You won't forget it. Or remember it if you do it right!

Well,

It was an experience to say the least! We got off to a slow start. One friend his daughter said her car was acting up so had to ride out to her work to check it out. Couldn't find anything wrong. Then the headlight went out on the other girl's bike. OMG it took over an hour to change a freaking H4 headlight on an '07 Ninja 250! I will never get that bike LOL what a PITA. Had to drive to Sanford to pick up the other lady and finally made it to DB around 1300. Went to the trike show and it was cool I'll post up the pics when I get some more time. Had lunch then out to Main Street.
SOOOO many squids and no freaking bathrooms!

Finally, my Crohn's decided it was time to head out. The freaking place we were parked at ($5 a piece) was horrendous getting out. The sign was labeled wrong so we went up this sandy hill (tough for an experienced rider) that turned out to be a dead end. Went back down it and the guy is like sorry I sent you the wrong way. But, getting out was a sandy mess too. Since, I was the one who really really had to go I took the lead. I made it out fine and was making a B-line for the nearest gas station.
I get to the red light and notice my group wasn't behind me. Shiat! Literally, I figured they had taken a different turn and I' m like I can't go looking for them if I do I will krap my pants! So, I get to a gas station about 3 miles away. I run in and beg for a bathroom guy says "All we have is a port-a-potty". Fluck! At this point I can't hold anymore! I run to the port-a-potty and realize there are no lights and it is dark! Fluck! Thank God I had my work flashlight in my tank bag. So I whipped it out set it on the floor got a glimpse of the toilet shouldn't have and almost puked but I was gonna blow. So, I believe it was like the movie where the OCD guy got laxatives. I take toilet paper and am trying to place it on the seat the smell was overwhelming! Finally sit down (I won't get into specifics) and finish my business! I got out and use half a bottle of sanitizer on my hands and call my friends.
The girl said we are so and so I dumped my bike in the sandpit! I now feel like shiate on top of everything and I profusely apologize for running off and leaving them. She said "It's okay I know you had to go and me and the bike are fine" Which didn't make me feel any better. I left a fellow rider  in trouble. We had dinner at Steak and Shake and rode home. What an interesting trip!
