Try either running with no external filters or at least some new ones with the little stones inside. Not paper.

My bike is supposedly bored out. I don't have proof just the previous owners word and I don't know what the over bore is if it indeed is bored out, but when I got it it ran really lean so I re-jetted. 40/150 2 washers 3 turns out. Lunchbox, stock headers, D&D can. It runs a lot better now. So you could try putting washers on your needles and running it with no air box. That would tell you if you aren't getting enough airflow. What do your plugs look like? When my bike was lean I could use however much throttle I wanted except it had a terrible hanging idle. There were times when I thought about giving up too, but now that my bike runs right I don't ever want to get rid of it. Good luck, I hope you can figure it out.
