Yes - but I love the GS!
When the market falls out on  liter bikes and people are clamoring for  a GS500 - I'll  be sitting pretty with all these new old stock parts 

I'm well stocked on tanks now. There are always great deals on  parts. i don't know why others needing tanks haven't jumped on the deals I find on flea-bhey. The tank for Phenix was a hundred bucks. Just 2 tiny dings. No rust. No one else bid on it! yet people would spend twice that to cut open a tank, seal it, weld it back up then sand & paint it.  There's a brand new, in the box 1993 tank on my shelf. Junior's tank was brand new old stock from Germany.

I guess I'm not just a parts whore, but a parts hoarder.
