So, i have some $$ to start spending getting my GS in rideable condition. Going to start with the basic needs right now, but i was hoping to find a place that would have everything i need in one spot instead of putting 7 different orders in at 7 different sites.

What i'm in need of:
-Carb rebuild kit (my carbs are leaky i presume a float bowl is stuck)/
-new oil filter
-new air filter (might as well get the K&N one)
-new chain (doesn't quite need one yet, but might as well)
-new mirrors (missing one, and eventually will go with bar end mirrors, probably just pick those up now)
-new grips (PO put some cheap %^$ "foam-like" harley style grips on there, and they are falling apart. Well, everything except the cheap "chrome" plastic)
-new plugs (again....might as well)
-new clutch and brake levers (one is bent a bit, and the other is just...jacked.)

Anyoen know of a good site to order everything form? I was thinking Amazon, btu they arent too reliable with what will fit and what wont.

just got home.
I'll link the parts you listed from where I bought them in a few mins. (once I hunt them down) haha

(edit)
here is the "Basic" carb rebuild kit I bought last year. (dont know where to get the rest of the parts as mine have been fine)
http://www.oldbikebarn.com/Suzuki-GS500-GSX1000-Carb-Repair-Kit
Carb Rebuild Kit. Includes: Float Bowl Gasket, O-Rings, Float Valve Assy.

Oil filter and plugs can be bought at advanced auto (thats where I purchased them everytime I got plugs or changed my oil)

K&N open air filter (cheapest site I found)
http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?prod=ru-2970

oldbikebarn.com and http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/ has been fine for me.

didnt have everything saved in my emails as I thought.

bar end mirrors are easy to find, just go by the handlebar size. (i got some semi cheap round black ones that have done me just fine)
same with the chain (bought what I can find that was red to match and not a crappy brand)

ugh sorry I couldnt be more helpful with all in one site.
thought I could come closer to it.
posted before I searched thru my old crap.

Google "oldbikebarn reviews" before you order anything from there........

I like www.denniskirk.com, www.dimecitycycles.com, motorcycle Superstore, eBay, and most importantly: my local Suzuki dealer.

It's opener there in the wide open air...

Yikes!
Thanks guys. I did some looking last night, and i just couldn't find everything in one spot except Amazon. Granted all the Amazon stuff comes from different vendors, but i would only have to deal with Amazon, and track everything through there.
Of course, ebay is always a "one site shop" but nothing is worse than ordering 12 different things and missing one when your project starts and then trying to figure out which vendor you ordered from to track the missing piece.

I do have a local Suzuki dealer in town, but they are notoriously over priced and under helpful.

From experience, oldbikebarn sucks.

On www.ronayers.com, which I have found to be very competitively priced and reliable, all the parts for an OEM carb rebuild equivalent to the K&L kit are $80.  That's not too bad considering they are OEM quality.  I would tear down the carbs and check to make sure you don't need any parts in addition what comes in that kit, then order what you need from ronayers.  I ended up getting new needles, needle jets, and gas nipple seals too because my carbs were so buggered up.

I checked, and I do have an extra set of 127.5 mains, and another set of 125's.  You would probably want the 127.5's if you are going to go with a K&N dropin.  If you want them, you got them.

I got everything from ebay, dirt cheap. Tracking your order is easy, ebay has a purchase history log to keep track of everything. They even add the tracking number in when it's available to check up on items. No complaints here.

Some stuff will eventually come from ebay. Exhaust, other hard to find parts stuff like that.
