Hi All,
Friend and I are putting together a fun bike built out of two junkers.
So far this is what we have, it's taken all winter just putting on it once or twice a week.
Lots of new parts, and more money than I want to think about.

To this and on and on...

So there she be so far, and aways to go yet.

You're showing some good taste in your build. Too often people really mess up a bike trying for a "street fighter" look. You're keeping it clean, not all chopped up and tastefully done.

I have the Shorai's and MosFet's in my bikes. Good choice.

The black forks with the gators works out very nice.

Thanks, my first try at this.
I wanted it clean, simple, with just a little color to catch the eye.
We got the shori only because of space limitations, hope it works out.
I have heard plus's and minus's.
Again, thanks !

I have the Shorai 14a (the $150 one) in 3 bikes and the 4th bike I'm building. I wouldn't have anything else.
I can't see which one you have. But they are worth it. Bikes all started fine at 30*.

AWESOME! Finally another black and red combo GS with undertail exhaust. Well mine has been converted now to underbelly. Love the build. Can we get a clean pic of how it looks with the routed exhaust on the right side.

Q:Why did they decide to call it the "Harley Owners Group?"
A:Because the term "Special Ed" was already taken.

Finally have an update on the build.
By the way, that's a 01 Yami R1 race tail.
HJ and I rode the bike this last Saturday. Runs real good, a little lean high up, running 140 mains right now with the lunchbox and the custom exhaust. We're going to put in some 150 mains and give them a try. The bike sounds AWSOME !
Need to hide the rear master cyl etc with some expanded metal or perforated sheeting but....
One other glitch it seems the dual dominators pull a heck of a lot of juice when both are used as running lights so we're going to look at smaller bulbs, or running just one light and two for high beam.  Anyone else notice this with the dominators?
Anyway here it is so far.

Looks awesome.

Suggestions:
1) Factory clip ons (produced for 89's only, and 89-00 in europe). I think they would really make the bike look mean.

2) Chin fairing/belly pan. Would really pull the whole bike together.

x2.

I also prefer the look of the stock headlight, or bigger duals.  Those look too small.

And, if you can, chop about 3" off of that exhaust so it sits flush, would look 1000x better.

All in all, really nice work!  :thumb:
