Did you lose power with the ice and all that? or just get dumped on?
Happyness is like peeing you pants.  Everyone can see it but only you can feel its warmth.

i love the snow. probably cause i live in the south and if it snows its like .5 inches and 1 time out of the year. if we are lucky. i think that a snow covered place looks good. especially on x-mas morning. but that hasnt happened yet so im still waiting on it.

Yeah, we're getting that here now (we usually get whatever you guys get a few hours later). Just as well I say...if I can't ride, the more snow the better for skiing.  :thumb:

No, but I learned to check the thickness of ice before I ride on it.

Most snow we've had was in 89' stayed on the ground for a day. Then two years ago it snowed lightly for a couple hours then melted at dawn.  :(
A lil snow is always welcome by me.

Damn John, you're making me homesick!  :(  I'm from Illinois originally, though I'm a California implant nowadays...the most snow we see in the SF Bay/Sacramento area is in the mountains...otherwise it is all rain here, though today is nice and sunny.
I do occasionally miss those blanket snows...always the sign to put the bike up and break out the snowmobile!!!!   :thumb:

I got 20+ inches of snow over the weekend.  I keep my bike out of the wind on the south side of my house, but with the wind, a huge drift built up in the area.  My bike was buried in 30-36 inches of snow  :o and hanging directly over the bike, was an overhang of snow that stuck out 4 feet from the roof!  Well, I hope my windscreen is okay, cause I couldn't dig out and move the bike, and well... the snowdrift on the roof was bending the gutters and had to go.  I poked at the snow and eventually a couple hundred pounds of snow hit me and the bike :(  The roof is doing much better now, and I have a couple of cool pictures of that snowdrift... all sculpted by the wind  8)

71 in Phoenix yesterday. Went for a nice long ride. I don't miss Chicago one damn bit. I did enough snow shoveling and driving in that crap to last me the rest of my life!!

Part of the reason I left NY was to get away from the snow - now I kinda miss it though. Around here just the word "flurries" announced on the radio causes mass hysteria, pileups on the interstate, and all the canned food in a 100 mile radius to disappear from supermarket shelves. Ridiculous! We haven't gotten any snow yet, but it's freezing outside!
