wow after getting the pictures we agreed on..$400....

He got it from a family member a year ago and its sat.. supposedly ran last July. <8000 on odometer and that looks like original front tire.. back tire is shot. somewhat rusty... tank looks like its bad shape. 1989 with clipons... ugh here we go again.. I always do this.
Its a 4 hour round trip and 200 miles there and back..
Thoughts?

Alas, I am. I've done all I can to it. I need a new project. I'm bored. Me being bored isn't good. Like I said in the ad, I have more money in it than what it is worth so no need to drop another couple hundred by changing the sub frame and rear seat/plastics. I mean really, what else could I do to it?

Decent looking paint job from the pics on that second one.

- Bboy

The second one is 20 min from my house.  I would be willing to go check it out with anyone who wants to.  I think $2,000 is pretty steep, but I have a feeling he would come down from that.

But that ad .... Cafe style? .... How many damn fools out there think that a naked bike is cafe style? ..... May as well say 80% of Harley's are cafe style!!

Sigh .... Removing the fairings does not a cafe racer make!!

A forum member had a similar experience... Remember reading a thread where they had hit a rock placed in the middle of the road, and blew the front tire and bent the front rim pretty bad... somehow managed to keep the bike upright. Crazy luck I guess.

My front rim actually has a visible bend in it too, though I'm sure that's a result of laying it down. The guy I took the wheels to when I wanted the new tires mounted pointed it out and mentioned how often he sees such things with Suzuki's lightweight wheels. I guess it's not real uncommon for the GS/GSX/GSX-R lines.

Hey guys, putting my gs up for sale as there's too many bikes in the garage and I just don't have time to get her running properly like I had originally wanted. She definitely needs some love & comes with an extra engine with decent compression, front fork, and a set of wheels with old rubber. I fixed the gas overflow issue that I had posted about and had it running decently, but it just doesn't want to stay running for whatever reason.

Thanks for looking.
