Katana rim size

was there ever a 5.5 katana rear wheel? A guy here has a rear wheel and does not know what year it is off of. in the pic it looks like 2000+ which is what i need for the swap. Problem is when I asked if it was a 3.5 (earlier years) or a for a 4.5 wide he told me it was a 5.5.

Tell him it should be stamped (or cast) onto the wheel. Usually by the valve stem hole. And wheels are measured on the inside of the bead - not on the outside of the bead or the tire width.
