aftermarket headlight cowl installation?

ok, I got it all down except for the rods that support the upper section.

sorry no photos as I assume the stock or any other aftermarket one has the same.

anyone ever install one of these before able to tell me which way and where these mount on the bike side?

Dont wanna go at it blindly anymore as I've already scratched up the paint installing the windshield on it. (which was a PAIN!) haha
