Removing the wheels?

I have a few questions. They may sound dumb...bear with me.

1. If I were to remove the wheels, what is the best way to keep a bike propped up? Can I just lean it up against something?

2. I have to replace the fork seals and refill the fork. Do I have to remove the front wheel for this? And How do I refill the fork?

You should emove the fok from the bike to do a proper job.

As for the frot wheel you will firat want to place the bike on its center stand and then you can surport the bike by placing jack stands, mike crate or something similar under the bike directley under the motor to help hold the front end of the bike off of the ground when you remove the forks.

As for the forks you should first unbolt the brake caliper from the fork then remove the front wheel.  To make it easy go ahead and undo the fender from the fork.  At this point you should be able to undo the forks from the upper and lower triple clamps and slide the fork legs out of the triple clamps.

Befoe you remove the forks you will want to undo the top cap of the forks while it is still clamped by the lower triple clamp.

By removing the forks you will be able to flush all of the old fork oil out of the forks and replace it with new oil.

If you do not have a shop repair manual from either haynes or Suzuki you should not attempt to do this repair unless you have rebuilt forks in the past and understand what you need to do to do this repair the correct way.  Being that you have asked these questions I feel that this is new to you and feel that you might need some resourse of info other than this web site to do the repair correctly.
