CBR900RR rear sets

so I just got my cbr900rr rear sets in the mail...first thing I noticed is they are about an inch back and an inch LOWER than the stock pegs. ????!!!??!?!? I'm gonna have to make brackets to push them back and up :/

anyone have any experience with these?
