Howdy!
I'm about a week old forum member and I love reading and commenting on here. I earned my motorcycle license last year and I'm working my butt off to get a bike. My reason for posting here is to essentially show my progress as a rider. Also, I'd like to show whatever mods I do to my bike (it will be a GS500) Sadly, I have not gotten a bike yet. So if you know of one for sale in Illinois or the surrounding states let me know! My price range is for around $1400.

Anyways, my reason for posting today is to show my new helmet and jacket off. They just arrived in the mail. O0  :woohoo: I'm kind of like a little kid on Christmas so bare with me...

If you think I'm posting in the wrong spot let me know!
Vega Attitude helmet from Jafrum.com. Not the best quality but it will get the job done until I can buy a much nicer one.

Mesh jacket with "armor." The armor is more or less foam but I wont argue. It is SOMETHING and it was only $25.

By the way, my name is Collin. 8)

I remember starting with next-to-nothing for gear. I'm so glad that's over LOL

For starting out I think I'm ahead of the game!

I like that jacket. It's well different.

I will be doing a lot of riding in the summer so I wanted something that was definitely breathable. It also have a removable liner so if it gets a little chilly I can put it on.

Dang only $25! I might have to buy one just for summer riding. My Fieldsheer only has two vents on the front and one on the back so it gets pretty warm on a sunny day.

Flux: Just a forewarning, there are no vents on this jackets. I wish there was but there isn't. It is mostly mesh so it should breathe fine with the liner out none the less. If you'd like more detailed pictures just ask. :)

Wait so its mesh but it has no vents.... Is there a layer of fabric behind the mesh or something? I wouldn't think you would need vents if it was just mesh.

The outside and inside are mesh. There is a layer of fabric in between, not thick though. I think it will breathe. I'll let you know when I get to test it.
