Last Sunday (April 1st) BaltimoreGS took us on a scenic ride around town. The sun was not out in the morning, so the ride was cool. Both group riding and riding twisties for pleasure were both new experiences for me and my husband. We nonetheless earned the coveted BaltimoreGS's Seal of Approval. I don't know what all the requirements are, but the main one might be keeping the shiny side up around the turns  ;)

Here is the obligatory GSx3 cameo.

First stop: dam at a reservoir (forgot the name, BaltimoreGS, help?) In order to hang out with BaltimoreGS, you have to not only be an adequately skilled rider, but an amateur athlete, in order to hike the half mile (according to my quads) flight of steps back to where we left the bikes  :tongue2:

Second stop was at Loch Raven Dam

We were out for just over a couple of hours, and it was a great way to finish breaking in my new Avon Roadriders! Sun came out for the ride home, which made the thought of how sore I was going to be the next day almost bearable :)

Great photos! Sounds like a fun and learning experience

Love the blue gsE in the photo!!!
if yer binders ain't squeakin, you ain't tweakin!

It was fun! And just the right length for someone that's never ridden for such a stretch of time/distance. Any longer and that blue gsE would have had to drag me behind it all the way home

I'll see if BaltimoreGS will post some directions for you :)

The first dam is at Pretty Boy Reservoir.  Falls Road to Mt Carmel to Pretty Boy Road is the most scenic way to get there from the city.  We should have lined the bikes up for a pic, we had all 3 generations present   ;)  Let me know when you and Tu want to go riding again   :thumb:

We ran quite a few supermoto rides through the loch raven area with a buddy of mine that used to live in Bel Air...good twisties and some nice off roading areas up there.   :thumb:  Gotta catch up with you guys for the next scheduled ride up there......
