I figured out why Taco bell was started.

The whole reason why pepsi bought tacobell - I am pretty sure this is why ...

They had to use up the ends of the tomatoes y'know the ones with the stem and leaves etc, cos in a burger they have to put the part of the tomato that isn't the end. Which is why 90% of tomatoes in a taco bell anything, are those that have that stem part.
Yea I am sure.

I have yet to eat at Taco Bell and not get sick.  I bet I have not been there in over 6 years.

You get what you pay for and Taco Bell is no exception.
Bikeless and Broke at the moment...

I like taco bell, but 90% of their tomato cubes are the end and stem bits. What's the matter, they couldn't core the end slice and then chop it up ...
BTW you dont get what you pay for, for $5 I can get a better mexican meal @ a mex restaurant. In fact there is a few buffet's around town for 5.95, excellent. However there is like 3-4 places around charlotte while there is 40 Taco Bells.

Bahahaha I used to eat so much taco hell it wasn't even funny. My high school drumline was even sort of sponsored by the local taco bell. They hung our picture on the wall and we got free food on game days or when we wore our drumline shirts. Granted I live in a tiny town of 4500 people and there aren't many places to eat and that taco bell is actually one of the cleanest most efficient fast food establishments I have ever been to. If I am in a town with a real mexican restaurant though I would rather try my luck somewhere different.

I don't feel great after eating there either.  That said, when I was young with unlimited digestive powers and very limited funds, Taco Bell was great.

I love the Taco Bell near me, their food is always good and the workers there actually seem to enjoy their job. The one that I used to live by though was terrible, and I got sick both times I ate their. I guess it can vary. Oh, and the Doritos Locos Tacos are AMAZING.

You may never get sick eating there but just remember that the spirit of Montezuma is always lurking, always ready and fully capable of getting his "Revenge".

I should have paid attention.  Montezuma had his revenge via Taco Bell for me today.

If you're getting sick at a restaurant it's not the chain's fault, but the mgt/staff at that particular location.  Either that or it's all in your head.

I know od someone who will get sick and get a headache drinking cheerwine. It doesn't matter in that case. If you have a lets say an allergy to some weird substance like say chives or any of the other myriad of chemicals used in the process you will easily get sick. The trick I guess is to find out if any 1 of these components in a taco bell item gets you sick by itself.

Yea so does every store in the country.
The only way to get meat before expiry date - yea kill the bugger yourself.
BTW mexican meat stores usually do better, they have it frozen ... hence they are cheaper and meat itself lasts longer cos its frozen ... 99c for sliced up beef not the good cuts but like london broil or brisket, see what I dont like about that hard as a rock meat is that it comes in packages the size of texas. But the mexican guys cut em into 1/2-3/4 lb slices. No mess and cheap.

I marinade em in some wine and vinegar and spices and cook em like steak. Beautiful.

Right, if that's your reason for not wanting to eat at Taco Bell you best just not eat out anywhere.

You're usually pretty safe if what you eat is scalding hot when you get it. They say the worst thing you can do to your body is live a germ free existence, it's the equivalent of a society with no military. When I was in Korea back in the mid 60s the village folk were happily drinking water and eating things that would dysentery us into a coma overnight.

I know I had some good times in Korea, just wish I could remember them. I am a germaphobe so I sanitized everything with Soju

Been two years and I still have the huanting effects Kimchi left on the Intestinal trac. I loved it though I would go back in a heart beat ... After they are done shooting the missile in space. Rode my first GS in Seoul, made it three blocks before I laid it down, OB and bikes don't mix, I have the scars to prove it!
