I work on a lot of different bikes, but the carbs on this one are a little different.

Normally, the needles are held in place with a "cup" that presses down on the top of the needle and held in place by a spring. On these, there is a white cap.

Not wanting to break anything, do these caps just snap out by pulling them straight up, or???????????

Also, do the OEM needles have grooves and and small E-clips so you can raise or lower them, or do you need to add shims to space them up?

These carbs have been through a heck of a lot by some other, so I am really being careful not to damage them any further.

The plugs are also in so tight I'm afraid to try and pull them out for fear they've been cross-threaded.

Also found that the air filter has been damaged by a critter and has a hole in it, so new filter is on order.

TIA
