"Cheap wine and a 3 day growth"----Cold Chisel.

That's what I said before, cheap wine and a free can of coke lol. That's what one of my ex's mothers thought the song was.
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

ojstinson

You're right, I missed that.  That's pretty funny, did you set her straight?

Lol I wish she had already been put into the right path.

Hey wait a minute, you're not old, you weren't even born when that came out--don't tell me they're still saying that in Pubs? Someone would yell; CHEAP WINE, and someone else would call back; AND A 3 DAY GROWTH.

Wow, crazy, was there working container ships in Brisbane as a kid in the early 80s, Cold Chisel was really big then, can't believe it's still around.

Can't believe Jimmy is still upright, that dude drank and partied enough to kill 10 men.

In the Army, in Germany, in the winter, got totally wiped out in town ( Nuremburg ) one night because I was off the next two days. Got back to the barracks and passed out, 4 hours later the IG called a surprised alert. 2 hours later I was in the field playing war games in -10F weather, deep snow and wind---20 hours of this and no sleep-----never felt worse in my life, I actually had fleeting fantasies of dying, or at least being injured bad enough to be air lifted to a warm hospital ER and ultimately a warm bed.

That was my 2nd week of an 18 month tour and I can honestly say I never got drunk again---hardly even drank after that. The whole idea of drinking brought those still vivid memories rushing back.

Top that one fellas.
reason my father will NOT touch southern comfort EVER again. bad hangovers while on post in germany. somehow got from the bars back to base and didnt know how
