Wow, crazy, was there working container ships in Brisbane as a kid in the early 80s, Cold Chisel was really big then, can't believe it's still around.

Yep they recently reformed and are or have just done another brand new studio album.

In the Army, in Germany, in the winter, got totally wiped out in town ( Nuremburg ) one night because I was off the next two days. Got back to the barracks and passed out, 4 hours later the IG called a surprised alert. 2 hours later I was in the field playing war games in -10F weather, deep snow and wind---20 hours of this and no sleep-----never felt worse in my life, I actually had fleeting fantasies of dying, or at least being injured bad enough to be air lifted to a warm hospital ER and ultimately a warm bed.

That was my 2nd week of an 18 month tour and I can honestly say I never got drunk again---hardly even drank after that. The whole idea of drinking brought those still vivid memories rushing back.

except he did recall teh post CO's car outside his housing unit, a major WTFH, quietly moves it elsewhere. next day post CO goin nuts wodering where his car is, father is made to look good ( after recovering, by calling and saying located your vehicle sir, enroute.
