I'm trying to figure out the routing of the speedo cable on my gs500f. I converted it to an E model but I have one cable routing wire that I'm not sure where it goes and I'm not sure where the cable goes, outside or inside of headlight mount. Does anybody have the 500E model manual they could post a picture of the proper routing? I know this sounds silly but the cable is just sticking out and looks terrible. Thanks for the help.

Does this help?

There are various clips and brackets available. I have some. They only keep it from flapping in the wind. You'll be OK without them until Saturday. We'll throw some on. There are a couple different ways to route the cable. Pretty much whatever works is OK.

This is Phenix.

Perfect! my Cable is routed to the outside of the fork, that seems to be the issue. Do you have a third routing clip somewhere? my cable has 3 routing clips. One on the axle, one on the shock triple clamp and then one above it that I don't know what to do with.

We can make it happen. Lots of assorted clips we can work with.
Route the best you can, ignoring any clips or brackets for the moment. We can fix up everything Saturday.
The one off the fork at the axle is  the most important as it relieves the stress where the cable goes into the speedo gear thingy. The remaining are more for keeping things tidy and not flapping in the wind. With just the fork cable guide, you'll be OK and we can add the rest.

Seems you got the headlight mounts on already. :thumb:
