Not a terrible afternoon

Went for a little joyride after work earlier today.

Because of injuries and people quitting, between 2 jobs I'm now 10 days in to a 17 day string.   :woohoo:

Somethings gotta keep us sane.  I left my house at 4.20, hit the top at about 5.25.  This is the first time up.

On the way back down.  The road is enough fun I figured I'd try and get at least one picture of the goodness.

After I drove up and down the other side completely, on my way back up the backside I realized it was going to be close.  The closer I got I started to think no way.  Absolutely no way.  When I was within a mile of the top I was just shaking my head.  When I could see the tower by the lot, and I was a couple tenths away I was incredulous.  When I was pulling into the turnoff I had to laugh. I know no one in the world will ever believe it, but I literally just pulled to a stop.  No circles or manipulation to get this at all.  Pure coincidence.  Jackpot, baby. (also, dammit, I knew I should've painted those guages!)

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.
