Wasn't going to say it but since you did I will agree     Otherwise a nice looking bike     This thread motivated me to dig my SV out of the garage.  Neglect led to a dead battery but a trip to Walmart and it fired right up.  Still not a huge SV fan but they are a decent all around bike like a GS.

The bike feels like it is much top heavier than the GS.

Argh!  Power delivery is determined by the bore, stroke, and valves, not parallel vs. V.  See the 650r vs. the SV650 dynos.
