Just wanting to get a fresh thread on some good kills from our bikes. Went heads up against a 95 Conrad last night. Stayed with him even ahead till eighty then backed off...I got a way better launch(4500) rpms.  8)

Not planning on "killing" anyone on my GS500, or any other bike on the streets for that matter.  Take it to the drag strip.

I traveled safely down the highway while others got in accidents, I proceeded home in one piece.

In the end the most important piece of safety gear is the thing you put inside your helmet.

Once 'killed' a ktm 450exc motard belonging to a mate. But cause he know how to lean better than me in a corner he kills me in the twists
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Nice.  :2guns: I'm merely scratching the surface of the mechanics of bike racing, but the twisties are a totally different game than drag. Anyone know any good tracks around south Carolina

No bike kills for me. Lots of cars though.

Corvette C6, Camaro SS, and a Masarati are some of the better ones.

These were quick 0-60 runs. Highway runs and all of those cars would kill the GS.

:thumb: yea past 90 she starts dying.. oh well a super sport is the next step. Gonna make the gs strictly track.

you'd be happier the other way around...track the ss. Use the GS for road use.

Well I'm broke until I graduate so I won't be tracking something I'd cry if I crashed

Past 90? Where the heck are you riding this thing?

As for things I killed.... heaps of bugs and stuff. I once got passed by a moped on the inside - does that count for anything? Nearly ran over a snake a few times. In the car have taken out heaps of Cane Toads.

As for Dragging things off at the lights... I have nothing to prove so can't be stuff with that juvenile stuff. I take off at my own speed, if someone wants to Gun it I let them go. Otherwise, normal take off in a bike leaves cars behind anyway.

Dragging things off is nothing to Brag about.

I had a tie today, there was a rather large stick across the road, and the end was sticking up so I went past at about 20-40 and hooked it under my boot and tried to kick it off the road but it just spun a 360 and for 5 min my foot cained so I call it a tie.

I killed dead road kill with my new helmet!!! Was riding a back road saw some vultures having lunch blew the horn to get them out of my way. One waited until the last second unfortunately and as he was flying off dropped his lunch right in my face OMG the smell was rancid. Thank God for helmets!!!!!
Scratched the helmet though  think it still had a piece of bone in it.

Woah, Mary! That takes the cake!  I was talking to a coworker on Friday, and he related a story of a friend who hit a buzzard with his car, whereupon the buzzard puked on his car. The guy just about puked cleaning it up!

The C6 must have been toying with you.  No chance you beat him 0-60 if he can drive.

"Are you sure they were racing?" is a question I always have.  When I'm out in my Camaro or Piglet's Corvette powered RX-7, I don't risk a speeding ticket on a car/bike I know I can beat.  I'm sure there are plenty of kids in Civics that go home bragging "I killed that Camaro!"

Been racing at the track and street races here and there for a long time now, I know the difference.  :icon_rolleyes:

Not every driver behind your favorite sports car is Mario Andretti. Chances are they didn't know how to launch it right, it's not my problem. I'm very consistent on my launch and can rip it hard.

A wins a win.

If you didn't kill it i would of after it did that. I had a guy on a new R1 want to race i just laughed at him. People that don't know much about bikes think that mine is some naked GSXR or something and think it goes 200 mph. I tell them the fastest that i've gone on it is 90. why the hell would you want to go faster than that on a bike out in public is beyond me.
