I am thinking of giving this a try, and I'm hoping that those of you who have swapped clutch perches could post some pics and comment on what, if anything, you did to make it work. I have read a lot of threads that mention it, claim to have done it, etc. I have also read just as many threads saying it won't work without extensive modding/custom clutch cable. So, for those who have done it, I want to see your pics.

I've got 1. Off a 99 - 02 sv, make sure it's got a thread in the top for a mirror. All you need is your clutch adjuster from your GS perch. Check out the handlebar change video in the turtorial thread to see mine. It's a bit fiddly but just jiggle the cable to make it work.

Either clutch adjuster should work (either from the GS or the SV), right?

Also, did you mean jiggle the cable to make the clutch function or jiggle the cable to get it installed in the first place?

Jiggle it to get the cable where you need it, and I've read use your GS adjuster nut and thread.

Cool. It looked like everything went together and worked ok in your video...and I assume if it didn't you would have a few more pointers.
