14t sprocket + 108 chain!?!?

I just ordered a14t sprocket and a 108 chain,  then I found out the stock 110 chain would fit. does anyone know if I can fit the 108 chain with the smaller sprocket??

Both 108 or 110 should work with 14/39T sprockets.

I'm about to do the 14/39 with a 110. Any benefit to going 108? Maybe more room for chain adjustment in the future?

I'll let you know how it fits when I put them on. I ordered them off ebay yesterday.
