so my intake valves checked out good, .04 for one and .05 for th other

both exhaust valves are less than .03

I won't have a shim kit for a week, maybe 2. I put clingwrap over thee motor and threw a bike cover over th whole bike....

will this be okay until the shims come in?

In the end the most important piece of safety gear is the thing you put inside your helmet.

slipperymongoose

Just put your valve cover back on and do your bolts up loosely and shell be right till your shims come in, I'm in the same situation my bikes been sitting for 2 weeks with just the valve cover on while I waited to my shim tool to come in, I got my shins out last night and going to pick replacements up this arvo.
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.
