New rider question (rejet related)

Hey All,

I have what may be a simple and over-asked question but I can't seem to find a direct answer anywhere.

So I'm still very new to bikes and I've recently installed a Jardine full exhaust system and I wanted to know if it is safe enough to ride to the shop. There, I'll be getting my new filter and jets installed. The commute from my apartment to the shop is roughly 40 miles. So my question is, will I be doing any serious damage to my valves or any other engine components on the way to my local shop?

Changing the exhaust is more noise and sound than anything else.
It has less impact on performance than changing the air box or jetting.

You will be fine riding it.
