First time poster - would love some help. Grabbed a '95 GS500 out of storage (4yrs), cleaned carbs, started right up. Changed plugs, checked oil, and have been riding. Unresponsive throttle from stop, and now dies once warmed up, and can't get it to have any throttle response - but still idles. Any thoughts? Thanks, Bradley

It sounds like a lack of fuel scenario.  Did you put in fresh gas and clean the fuel screen in the tank?
"You're having a Nutty Bar and a Beck's for breakfast?"

"Yeah.... the Guinness is all gone."

Could be a lot of things.

First thought:  Valve Clearance.  How many miles?
How well did you clean the carbs?  Take out the jets or just Seafoam?
Check exhaust header bolts and gaskets.  Loose bolts or bad gaskets cause lean condition.
Carb boots cracked or leaking from carbs to intake causing lean condition.
If you have a fuel filter, take it off.  Not needed.
Tank petcock on/off valve not all the way 'on'.
Bikeless and Broke at the moment...
