I am getting a strange Tick at random while idling. The second I touch the gas it goes away! Any I ideas? The valves are within spec. It only happens every minute or so and ticks for a few seconds before going away. HELP?

Just a couple ideas. Are your spark plug boots on tight? Maybe spark leaking from the spark plug wires, but you would probably notice the cylinder missing. A loose bolt somewhere?

Im going to replace the plugs just in case. I have heard that it might be normal as well as our motor make crazy noises all the time! I will upload a video tommorow

If your valves are in spec some ticking is normal.

The ticking you're hearing though is cam-shaft endplay. The cams are moving from side to side in their channels. It's harmless as far as I've seen it reported. There was a fix with some kind of nylon inserts, but I haven't looked into it as the noise doesn't bother me.

I will have a video up by Monday of the sound watch it go away after I post it lol
