Will "F" switches work on an "E"?

My handlebar switches are still functional but ugly. Will "F" switches work on my '91 "E"? If so, will it be a monster to modify? Will I have to upgrade the clutch lever? If so, to what?

The connectors are different. You would have to cut and splice lots of wires or get the connectors and put them on.
Probably easier to find better looking "E" controls.
