95 engine in 2001 gs 500e swap?

I have a solid 95 gs500 e motor was wondering if it will fit in 2001 gs500 with bolown motor
Is it a simple swap or much difficult involving multiPle parts
Pls help and let me know

Simple swap.
You may have to swap the timing pickup, but I think 2001 used the same as 89-00 models.
Use your existing carbs. All cables will be unchanged.
Suggest new o-rings on the intake manifolds just to be sure no air leak there.
So it is pretty much a direct swap.

There was a change in the depth of the intake manifolds in 2001 or 2004. I forget when. You might use your existing intake manifolds. They will fit and insures they fit your carbs.
