Yup. On vacation, left the laptop at home so I couldn't do any work. So, I'm hitting the forum using my iPhone.

Hitting the forum through the browser on the iPhone pops up an annoying nag about the forum bring able to use Tapatalk seems like every time I load a new page. There's probably a way to change or disable the signature but I haven't spent the time looking for it.

This is getting way off topic but I like the app. It's faster than using Safari.

Never said it was required. All about convenience. I use Tapatalk to keep tabs on 5-10 different forums. It automatically brings up the newest posts since I last checked. Much more convenient, and easier to read, than viewing the same in Safari.

You're right Yama. But some of us like to waste our money on things that seem cool or convenient. Can we chalk it up to personal preference and get this thread back on topic? :thumb:

Uhhh does it  have a steering wheel or handlebars???

Looks like handlebars if you zoom in.

Steering wheel would just be ridiculous.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I thought so, but i wasn't sure if they were for show or not, they dont have much room to turn though, thats for sure!

I'm almost thinking they've got to have something rigged up where turning is like on a tank or something where you reverse one side or the other to turn. I can't see how the front wheels would turn much at all, even with a steering wheel.

or a brake like on a tractor ( split) hit both both wheels stop. hit one and its wheel stops. aiding turning. the dial wheels if mounted on a single pivot point is a major flaw.  if they turn like an automobiles wheels then maybe not. need more info. i dont see this thing being a daily driver/rider . unless owner takes trailer off

I agree. Not likely to be a daily driver...more like a show pony.

OK, since this thread has been officially jacked, I'll respond to the new topic.

I'm going to go with the Android is ok, but I prefer iOS stance. This will surely lead to a debate that can only lead to this thread getting Tard Farmed.

I went from an Android phone to my current iPhone because the hardware was painfully slow and the Android market seemed to be moving in a direction I didn't like. In other words, Android apps are allowed to access too many features of your phone causing me to lose trust in the overall security of the device. In addition, Android is getting too fragmented. Google releases a new version every 6 months or so, before the existing version has even penetrated the market. And, unfortunately, they leave it to the device manufacturers & cellular providers to update handsets (mostly because manufacturers & cellular providers are allowed to morph the OS into their own monstrosity), if the existing hardware will even handle the new features. This is leading to the Android market filling up with apps that may or may not work on your phone, depending on the software version and hardware along with apps that will steal your personal info, since Google doesn't have any sort of vetting process prior to an app being made available on the market.

To contrast, Apple, through their strict control over both hardware and software, as well as their control over which features/functions apps can access, has made a much more secure and stable device. I am happier now with my iPhone than I ever was with my Android phone.

I currently use a Windows laptop for work, a Windows PC for home/gaming, an Apple iPad, and Linux on both my file server and my home theater pc. I have an ancient iBook that cannot be upgraded any further due to hardware limitations, and I have also built and used a Hackintosh, though it has since been dismantled. So, please don't call me an Apple fanboy, because I don't fit the definition.
