So I recently purchased a gs500f, about 2 months ago. Been getting everything on her working, making sure everything ran fine, putted down the road a bit. I get ready to go get her registered today, and as I'm riding up the road she sputters and dies in 3rd gear. Oil light comes on, and the bike won't start right away. I give it a few minutes, crank her up again, and she runs fine. I turn around, and right before I get back home she does the same thing.

I feel like I'm probably making some nub rider mistake but I figured it would be better to ask you guys than to risk it.

Any thoughts?

How much fuel did you have in the tank and how long since your carbs were cleaned out?
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Well, I figured it out. The vent hose coming from the gas tank was pinched off. Runs fine.

Then I almost got struck by lightning. What a fun day. Thanks :3
