Ok I have ags500f 2008 model am about to change my jets as I have acquired twin high flow k&n pod filters and a yoshi trs, I see a lot of people running either 142.5, 145 or 147.5 mains with similar mods, can people with similar year model or f model post their filters, pipe combo along with their jets sizes and how they find it runs with that set up eg: dips in power throughout the rev range, running lean? Rich?
I just haven't found much specific info when it comes to this topic and It would be good to get this info in one place for those of us who haven't changed the jets b4 I mean no one wants to go through 5 jet kits to achieve the right tuning so anyone got sum insight for us beginners (should have spent lest time on the track and more in the garage when I was younger lol, oh well gotta start somewhere).

Unfortunately, you will have to do just that.  There are slight differences in each set-up, and it is all trial and error until you get it perfect. Just start somewhere. If you like it, stop there. If you don't, you'll have to find out what the problem is.

I have done extensive research on this site and asked myself the same question.  What I got out of what I have learned is : its a black magic.  So I decided to go with 147.5.  It says it all in my sig below.  IT might be a tad rich but I dotn mind.  I thin ktis better being a tad rich then lean.  Im going to try these jets for a while and then decide if I need to go down in the pilot or main.  The mid main is just right at 65.  Hope this helps, and it might take some tinkering to get it right.
Good luck

I have a 2007 GS500F.  I have a Yoshi Slip on and K&N Lunchbox.  My settings are 147.5 mains, 20 pilots 3 turns on mix screws, 1 washer under needle.  Runs PERFECT.  I have tested this in cold weather and 100 degree runs and it never misses a beat.  Pulls strongly, no flat spots.

I have K&N Lunchbox (like pods sort-of) and the stock exhaust.  I run 20/65/142.5.  Start with 145 and if a tad lean, try 147.5.  142.5 is too lean for your setup I reckon.
Bikeless and Broke at the moment...

Ok ordered 22.5 pilot, 65 mid mains and 147.5 mains will see how we go
