Has anyone done these modifications?

I am interested to know, and where would you find out local laws on baffles vs nonbaffled?
Cheers!

all my dad did is took a drill and drilled out the baffels. it sounds pretty good.

oh yea. listened to the one on bikepower.net and it kinda sounded like a ducati monster 750 which imo sounds pretty good.

i took a 3/8" drill to the outer baffle, and a 1/2 in steel punch to the inner.
