Hi guys had my bike on the road for a week and its been smelling pretty rich if I'm honest , took the plugs out and one of them is black and sutted and the other one is white!

Whats my problem here? could one of the floats be jammed? I know a fair bit that I'm confident to work on my carbs any day but only if i know the cause of the probelm and i don't :D

Cheers for any help!

A black sparkplug is could be caused by a very rich mixture or because of misfiring (electrical problems or just a bad sparkplug.

How about the white one ?

The GS runs very lean so it's probably fine.
Have you synced the carbs recently? It could be badly out of sync.
