95 GS500 for sale

I bought a nice and running 95 GS500 some time back but it needed a few small things like the seat re wrapped, new rear tire, speedo and tach were faded. Anyway, I took it all the way down to the frame to get everything stripped and powder coated. I even bought new parts for it but here very recently I bought a newer 07 with a blown bottom end but everything on it is perfect.

Anyway, the 95 worked and ran fine. It was dirty and thus why I was going to get it stripped and redone. If you are interested in it please LMK. I have recently started to put it back together to sell but it might take me a while with my current heavy schedule. I have every piece and all pieces are individually bagged, sorted and labeled.

Again, if you are interested, let me know. I am in Albany GA. I have new replacement 04+ controls for it. Brand new K&N Air filer and oil filter with Royal Purple oil. New pegs (front and rear). New rear turn signals. I also bought all new hardware and parts to add the newer 04+ fairings. I also have both oil cooler lines and the oil cooler. Last but not least, I have a box of the tank rust cleaner and coating. I cant remember the name of it right now but its the 3 white bottles with the acid and coating.

Anyway, LMK if anyone wants it. $700 OBO with a clear title.

I'm a college student living in Auburn, AL looking to get started in riding (MSF course in a week, actually) and am interested in this bike. Is it still available?

It is avail still. The tank cleaner and coating is Kreeme. I looked at is this morning. Also, I want to add the engine has slightly over 9K on it.

@ Pinkums, since you are new, I want you to make sure you understand the bike is still in pieces. I have everything to convert it over to a full fairing bike minus the failings which I am keeping. All the 04+ clips and hardware are still in the box and packaging. The K&N oil filter and K&N air filter are brand new. The Royal Purple oil is still in the bottle. I also have the 04+ from headlight stay.

That sounds good. I won't actually be able to pick it up until August 8th or so; if you want to go ahead and put it back together that would be fine with me (higher price is ok). And I was planning on keeping it naked anyway.

Are you ok with hanging on to it until then?

If you want to do a partial deposit on it to show you're serious then I would hold on to it. I have tons of references and am a Site Mod on another board. I won't have enough time to put it back together full in 6-7 days. I do a lot of custom work for other guys and I've tons of work to do now as it is that has already been paid for upfront. I could have a majority of it together but no way I could do it 100 %

Understood. I'm willing to put up a deposit. Considering the other work you've committed to, do you know how long it would take to get it completely together?

Honestly, I could do it in a weekend if I could be left alone in the shop and not pulled in a dozen directions. It's not hard, it just takes time. I'm going to PM you my number so you can call me.
